DBT Credentialing Presentations – Australian DBT Institute

Presentations will be 20 minutes duration with time allocated for discussion at the conclusion of each presentation. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there has been a number of changes to our schedule with all presentations to be online other than those who are able to attend the Gold Coast for their presentation (please watch out for any COVID-19 updates as any changes to health advise may impact this option too).

As you can see below, participants have the option of moving their enrolment to 2021/22 if they do not feel equipped to present their presentation due to COVID-19 restrictions.

DBT GROUPS

The Australian DBT Institute runs a DBT Program from Essentia Health in Melbourne, Sydney, and Gold Coast. Our program has been developed by Dr. Peter King who is the developer of DBT-TI. DBT-TI is a Trauma-Informed approach to DBT which follows the evidence base of DBT and safe trauma therapy approaches. The approach has been found to be successful in Australia, South Africa, and Thailand where Dr. King develops mental health professionals in the DBT-TI approach.
